Emma Watson is a girl with an interesting biography. She was born in the suburbs of Paris on April 15, 1990. The girl’s parents, lawyers by profession, lived in France for another five years after Emma was born, and then, having moved to the UK, divorced. Emma and her younger brother Alex stayed with their mother.
Even at an early age, Emma knew for sure that she would become an actress. While studying at the Oxford Dragon School, the girl studied in a drama club. At the age of six, Watson was already showing her talent as a dramatic actress. She has starred in the school plays “The Happy Prince” (based on Oscar Wilde), “Arthur’s Youth” and the image of the evil cook in the production of “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll.
The teacher of the school drama club, seeing Emma’s talent, invited her to participate in the casting for the role of Hermione Granger in the film “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”. The girl managed to please JK Rowling herself and go through all five casting rounds, beating a thousand young applicants for the role. But they had the basics of acting education, while Watson was, in fact, self-taught.
The role of a young sorceress and student of the Hogwarts School made Emma Watson the most popular girl in the world. Needless to say, the incredible number of awards she received for this role over the years!

Filming in “Potterian” lasted almost ten years. But the role of Hermione did not become the main one in her career, although it brought her ten million pounds.
But in between filming, the girl did not waste time. Emma graduated from Headington School for Girls in Oxford and RADA Acting Courses in London in 2008.
Life after Harry Potter
Simultaneously with the filming of “Potterian”, Emma was offered the role of aspiring actress Paulina Fossil in the film adaptation of Noel Streetfield’s novel “Ballet Shoes”. The film was not a big success, and Watson decided to take a short break from her career as an actress and focus on her studies. Emma explained her decision by the fact that there are other interesting things in the world that she would like to do.
The girl goes to Brown University in the United States, but after a year and a half, she takes an academic leave to take part in the campaign in support of the film “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”. The actress will graduate from the university and become a bachelor in English literature, but already in 2014.
At the same time, Watson was approved for the secondary role of Lucy’s assistant in the film “7 Days and Nights with Marilyn” (a biopic about Marilyn Monroe ).
Although Emma was busy on the set of the film about Monroe for only a few days, she, already an adult and talented, was noticed by eminent directors. In June 2012, the actress confirmed the information that she was approved for the role of Ila (Noah’s adopted daughter) in the film Noah (directed by Darren Aronofsky).
A year later, Emma appeared as an unprincipled thief in Sofia Coppola’s “Elite Society”. And in 2017, Watson proved herself to be a versatile actress, playing the beautiful Belle in the musical fairy tale Beauty and the Beast.
Emma was so eager to reveal all the facets of her talent that, without hesitation, she agreed to work with famous fashion brands.
In 2008 the girl began to cooperate with the British Burberry brand, becoming the face of the fashionable fall-winter 2009 collection and the spring-summer 2010 collection (her brother Alex, as well as musicians Matt Gilmore and George Craig, with whom Emma had a short affair, took part in the advertising campaign with her).
AND in 2011 Emma became the face of a French brand Lancôme… A little later, the brand of ethical clothingPeople tree and Watson will sign a contract to collaborate on a fashion collection.
Emma’s first love happened when she was only ten. The girl fell desperately in love with her co-star in Harry Potter. But it was not Rupert Grint or Daniel Radcliffe, but Tom Felton, who played the villain Draco Malfoy. Watson had been in love with him for two years. In an interview, the actress said that she found the strength to confess her feelings to Tom. Felton could not reciprocate with the girl, but behaved like a real gentleman and became a close friend to her.

By a strange coincidence, almost all the famous novels of the actress, like her first love, lasted only two years.
In 2011, Emma drew attention to Oxford students. First, she had an affair with musician Will Adamovich. Then Matthew Jenny became Watson’s lover. The young man was two years younger than the actress, studied at the faculty of English literature (perhaps it was she who brought Matthew and Emma closer together) and played rugby. But this relationship also exhausted itself after two years.
Later, as the reason for the failed romances, the actress named the tight schedule of filming in films and the inability to develop relationships because of this.
In 2015, many media reported that Emma Watson was secretly dating Prince Harry . However, the actress denied this information.
After that, the artist met for two more years with William Knight, a man far from show business and working in the field of computer technology.
Last year, Emma was seen in the arms of Glee actor Kord Overstreet. The couple announced their breakup after six months of relationship. Now the personal life of Emma Watson is characterized by two words – “status is free.”
But star fever never touched Emma, despite her immense popularity and general attention from childhood. The girl adores her friends, with whom she was close even before fame, loves hockey and Italian cuisine. In general, she spends time just like her other peers.
